This Privacy Policy ("Policy") informs you about which personal data we collect, how we process it, and how we protect it. The Policy applies to data collected through the website www.cw-cbs.rs and other forms of communication you initiate with us, including email, telephone contact, event registrations, newsletter subscriptions, and service inquiries.
CBS International d.o.o. Belgrade, with its registered office at Tadije Sondermajera 11, Belgrade, Serbia (hereinafter: "CBS," "we," "us," or "our"), processes data on its own behalf and on behalf of our affiliated companies in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable.

At times we may request that you voluntarily supply us with personal information. Generally, this information is requested when you register for an online service, when you provide information in connection with an online transaction or when you contact us in relation to the Website or our services.

We may keep a record of your preferences so that we can tailor our offers and services to you. We do not store your personal data longer than is legally permitted and necessary for the purposes of providing our services or any relevant part of our services. Once you have registered, you may join our discussion forums and we may hold information about you from your use of such discussion forums.
When you enter a competition, register for a client event or other promotional event, we may ask for your name, address, telephone number and email address so we can administer the event.

With your analytics consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the Website and improve its content and performance. The data may include pseudonymous cookie identifiers, pages visited, interaction events, referral information, browser and device details, language and approximate location. These identifiers may be personal data even where they do not directly identify you by name.
Google states that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. IP addresses are used at collection to derive approximate location and are then discarded by Analytics. This does not mean that all analytics data are anonymous. We do not intentionally send contact details, enquiry text or other directly identifying form contents to Google Analytics.
Our legal basis for optional Website analytics is your consent. You can refuse or withdraw it at any time through Cookie Settings without losing access to the main Website. Google Analytics collection is blocked until consent and stops after withdrawal. Analytics consent does not authorise personalised advertising or unrelated reuse of your data.
Google and authorised service providers receive analytics data for the purposes described above. Processing may take place outside Serbia, including in the United States, subject to the safeguards described below. This period differs from cookie expiry; aggregated reports may be retained separately where they no longer identify individuals.

Where required, we use an applicable adequacy mechanism or legally recognised contractual safeguards, together with additional measures where necessary. GDPR transfer mechanisms are applied where GDPR applies and do not replace requirements under Serbian law. If you provide another person’s data, you must be entitled to share it and inform them of this Policy; this does not remove our own transparency obligations.
We offer the use of a secure server and Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encryption technology to protect your information. However, given the electronic nature of the internet, by using this Website, you accept the inherent risks in doing so, including, but not limited to, the security risks of interception, unauthorized access, the risks of corruption and the risks of viruses or other harmful devices.
The Website does not currently offer an AI chatbot or generative-AI assistant. We do not use Website interactions to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects for you. Statistical analysis in services such as Google Analytics is described separately above.
If we introduce an AI feature that processes personal data, we will first assess its purpose, lawful basis, security and privacy risks and provide appropriate information before the processing begins. Where appropriate, this will include the relevant provider, data categories, retention and transfer arrangements, and access to human review. Any consent required by law will be requested separately; this Policy is not blanket consent to future AI processing.
You have the right to access and be informed about any of your personal data processed by us. You may also request a copy of your personal data.
In case the processing is based on a consent granted by you, you may withdraw the consent at any time.
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Refusing or withdrawing consent to optional analytics or marketing does not prevent access to the main Website or services that do not depend on that processing.

You may also request from us to delete your personal data from our system. We will comply with such request unless we have a legitimate ground to not delete the such personal data.

We respond within the period required by applicable law, normally within 30 days under Serbian law, and explain any lawful extension or refusal. Requests are normally free of charge; exceptions apply only as permitted by law.
In case you consider our processing of personal data to be inconsistent with the applicable data protection laws, a complaint may be lodged with the local supervisory authority for data protection.
In Serbia, you may complain to the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (Poverenik za informacije od javnog značaja i zaštitu podataka o ličnosti): https://www.poverenik.rs. This does not limit your right to contact another competent supervisory authority or seek judicial protection where applicable.

In particular, unless expressly stated, we are not agents for these Websites or advertisers nor are we authorized to make representations on their behalf. In any event, you should explore the privacy practices of those third parties.
In order to bring you more personalized services, we may ask you to establish one or more passwords to gain access to certain services or sections in either our Website or the website(s) of other suppliers whose products or services are available to you via a link from our Website.
