The Challenge
For the second consecutive time, Yettel and its sister company Cetin have entrusted CBS International to lead their lease renewal negotiations, confirming continued confidence in our expertise. The Client was evaluating whether to relocate to a new office building or renew its existing leases. The assignment involved assessing the available market options against the company’s current and future operational, technical and commercial requirements, while identifying the most suitable solution for its headquarters.
The Solution
CBS International was engaged to assist the client in order to assess the market potential and to select an adequate relocation option or support lease renewal. CBS International has performed detailed analyses of the client’s current as well as future needs. Drafting detailed technical specifications of the client’s requirements, including descriptions of layouts and interiors together with all necessary installations.
The CBS International team prepared the RFP in line with the client’s requirements and needs, managed the entire RFP process, and negotiated the key commercial and legal terms of the future lease agreement. The team regularly reported to the Client on the most competitive commercial terms achieved during negotiations with representatives of the shortlisted landlords.
CBS International also coordinated and led technical meetings to ensure that all of the Client’s technical requirements were met, supported the evaluation and selection of the most competitive commercial offer, led the final legal negotiations, and provided support through to the final execution of the lease agreement.
The Result
Following a comprehensive assessment of the relocation and lease-renewal options, the Client decided to remain in its existing premises and renew its lease. Through a structured negotiation strategy supported by real-time market data and competitive offers, CBS International secured improved lease terms with the existing landlord, delivering cost savings and enhanced flexibility—without the disruption of relocation.
The renewal covers 10,500 sq m across two stand-alone buildings, which have been connected by an internal launch area to create a single, integrated operational space. This represents the second consecutive successful lease renewal secured by CBS International for the Client. The new five-year lease, with an extension option, provides the Client with greater long-term security and operational flexibility.
